Respiratory Care Graduates Receive Pins

EUNICE – Thirteen students recently participated in a pinning ceremony after completing the associate degree program in respiratory care on the LSU at Eunice campus.

Graduates of the program are eligible to take the national examination to become certified respiratory therapists.

Students completing the program are Tamica Aguillard, Eunice; Lauren Cassel, Breaux Bridge; Michelle Credeur, Carencro; Amy Fontenot, Ville Platte; William Gotreaux, Eunice; Emily Higginbotham, Port Barre; Jana Lazard, Opelousas; Corey LeJeune, Iota; Ashley Richmond, Lafayette; Rena Roy, Lafayette; Noel Slovacek, Broussard; Necolas Touchet, Rayne; and Andre Worley, Lafayette.

Rena Roy received the Outstanding Student Award. The Edward Calloway Distinguished Student Award was also presented to Rena Roy.

Pins were awarded by Kathleen Warner, director of respiratory care, and by other members of the respiratory care faculty.
