Gospel Artist Carolyn Traylor to Perform at LSUE

EUNICE – Gospel recording artist Carolyn Traylor will perform at Louisiana State University at Eunice on Saturday, September 15 at 9 a.m. in the Health Technology Auditorium on the LSUE campus.
A native of Greenville, Texas, Carolyn began her singing career while attending Texas Southern University under the tutelage of the late Olivia Branch Walker.
She has performed in various churches in Greenville, Dallas, Louisiana and in the surrounding areas and earned Hunt County Gospel Vocalist of the Year and Hunt County Female Entertainer of the Year honors.
Traylor has toured Switzerland and Italy and was invited to attend the 15th Annual Chicago Gospelfest where she sang with the Queen of Gospel, Albertina Walker. She also served as a guest soloist on Evangelist Dorothy Norwood’s Grammy-nominated CD.
Her latest album is entitled, “There's a Story Behind My Praise”.
Traylor’s performance at LSUE is being sponsored by the LSUE Office of Academic Assistance Programs and is free to the public.
