Phi Theta Kappa Inducts Nine

Students on the LSU at Eunice campus recently inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an academic honor society for students at 2-year colleges, include, from left, LeeAnne Sonnier, Ville Platte; Ashly Istre, Eunice; Kellie Thibodeaux, Arnaudville; Jenna Schexnayder, Egan; Natacha Colomb, Opelousas; Jamie Berg, Youngsville; Amanda Duplantis, St. Martinville; Tsz Ching Law, Eunice; and Chi Tat Lam, Eunice. Pictured with the inductees are Chancellor William Nunez, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services Judy Daniels and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Steve Guempel. Phi Theta Kappa has over 1,000 chapters in all 50 states plus several countries overseas. Membership requirements include earning a 3.5 (B-plus) or higher overall grade-point average.
