LSUE Receives St. Landry Parish Hospital Service District Scholarship

| EUNICE – LSU Eunice nursing student Ian Oliver became the first recipient of the St. Landry Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 Scholarship. Chip Thibodeaux presented Oliver with the scholarship and the university’s first annual Scholarship Donor Recipient Luncheon held last week. Oliver was chosen by the Nursing and Allied Health Division staff on the bases of core-area grade point average, attitude, professionalism, community involvement and character. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one of LSUE’s seniors in the Nursing and Allied Health Division and will rotate between the nursing, radiologic technology and respiratory therapy programs each year. |
