Evangeline Parish Bar Assocaition Give Scholarship

The Evangeline Parish Bar Association gave $5000 toward an endowed scholarship for Louisiana State University at Eunice.
Presenting the check to LSUE Foundation director Madelaine Landry was outgoing vice president Kelly Tate, outgoing president Trent Brignac and outgoing secretary-treasurer Clyde Fontenot.
The Bar Association also established criteria for the scholarship at the meeting. The freshmen award of $500 per semester will be given to an Evangeline Parish resident that will be a student at LSUE in a legal field.
The Bar Association set plans to add additional funds to the endowed portion of the scholarship each year. |
