Summer Enrichment for Adults at LSUE

The Office of Continuing Education at LSU Eunice announced its summer lifelong learning and personal enrichment courses for adults.
LSUE is offering adult courses in dance, aerobics, business, computers and crafts.
The Louisiana Jitterbug course will be taught by certified dance instructor Paula Lafleur and will feature the music of Louisiana artist. The class will meet on May 30, June 3 and June 10 at 6 p.m. Tuition for the course is $80 per couple.
Water aerobics will meet on Monday and Wednesdays between June 2 and August 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the LSUE Natatorium. The course tuition ranges from between $50 for 10 sessions to $90 for 25 sessions.
Beaded Bracelets will teach the skills need to create beautiful jewelry. The course will meet June 7 at 10 a.m. in the LSUE Acadian Center. Tuition for the course is $30 with a $2 material fee.
Quilts will be the subject of two Bengal You courses. LSUE will offer Sawtooth Star Quilts and Very Square Quilts this summer. The Sawtooth Star class will be June 21 at 10 a.m. and the Square Quilts will be July 12. Both classes begin at 10 a.m. and both have a fee of $45.
Computing for the Terrified is for people who have never used a computer before. The course offers 12 hours of instruction and three hours of lab time. It will be held June 2, 4, 9, 11, and 13 at 5 p.m. Tuition is $89 with a $5.00 materials fee.
LSUE is offering two business courses over the summer through Continuing Education.
Basic Grant writing will meet on Saturdays between July 12 and August 2 at 9 a.m. This course has a fee of $109 and will introduce participants to grant development.
Sales and Negotiation covers the complete sales process and will meet on Mondays between July 7 and August 4 at 6 p.m. There is a $50 registration fee and a $15 materials fee for the course.
