Summer Enrichment for Youth Classes Set

EUNICE – Summer enrichment classes for children from ages 3 through 16 will be offered by LSU at Eunice, with some classes starting as early as June 2.
Classes are scheduled at various age levels in swimming, art, jewelry making and Science.
Beginning swimming for all grade levels will meet Monday through Thursday June 9-26 in two sections, 8 - 8:50 a.m. and 9 - 9:50 a.m. An intermediate swimming class is scheduled for 10 - 10:50 a.m. on the same dates. The fee is $60.
Story Time and Craft will allow students to create crafts related to stories told during class. The class will meet Monday through Friday from 1 - 2 p.m. June 2-6. This enrichment class is open to students age 5 - 7 and cost $35. A $5 supply fee is due the first day of class.
LSUE will also offer courses on art. Students will create art projects for their appropriate age level. The course is open to students ages 5 - 8 and will meet Monday through Friday, June 9 - 13. The cost of the course is $35 with a $5 supply fee due the first day of class.
In Song and Dance, students will participate in dancing, acting and learning for their appropriate age level. The course will meet Monday through Friday, June 9-13. Cost of the course is $35 with a $5 supply fee due the first day of class.
In Science, students will experiment and learn about earth science through hands-on activities. The course is open to students in grades 2 - 8 and will meet on July 14 - 18 and will meet at different times for each age group. Cost of the course is $40 with a $5 supply fee due the first day of class.
Jewelry making classes are scheduled for Monday through Friday, June 16-20 for grades 2 - 7. Each student will make jewelry projects for the week. The students will have the option to create key chains, bracelets and more. Classes will meet at different times for each age group. Cost of the course is $40 with a $6 supply fee due the first day of class.
